ASART professionals'
brochure goes live!

ASART's Children and Families Therapeutic and Training Services brochure is now available on the publications page. The brochure, a resource for Local Authorities, Schools and Other Organisations outlines the services offered by ASART associates like: comprehensive family assessments; parent sessions; family sessions; intensive family therapeutic programmes and school visits.
ASART therapists are experienced adoption support professionals and trainers and can be trusted by Local Authorities and others because we are: Ofsted registered; have a good Ofsted rating; offer low and negotiable fees and can tailor make our work onsite and/or in local settings. Therapists offer evening and weekend sessions.

ASART Associate, Maggie Rogers, has taken on the role of Interim Head of Training at Post Adoption Centre (PAC) from 24th May 2011. Maggie is passionate about providing first class, cutting edge training for all parties to adoption.

Elizabeth Mulhern, ASART Associate, is expanding her private practice and has become an affiliate of Parents and Children Together (PACT). Elizabeth has also applied to become a sessional worker at PAC.

Three ASART Associates: Esther Ina-Egbe, Kunu Gordon and Maggie Rogers have become parent advisors for the Pilot of the 10 session parenting programme: 'Enhancing Adoptive Parenting'. This has involved them going into the homes of adoptive parents to teach them 10 sets of parenting strategies over 10 weeks. The programme, and the research project evaluating it, is the brain child of Professor Alan Rushton, well-known adoption academic and researcher.
